Built around the job
Momentum establishes rhythm and energy quickly, helping turn the intention to work into forward motion.
The music evolves gradually, with enough movement to keep your brain engaged and enough consistency to support sustained focus.
Beta-range signals and colored noise work with the music to create a steady focus environment around the task in front of you.
Science behind the sound
Research suggests that people with ADHD can respond differently to background sound. A 2024 systematic review and meta-analysis found task-performance improvements from white or pink noise among children, adolescents, and college-age young adults with ADHD or elevated attention difficulties.
A separate 2024 study found that rapidly modulated music produced stronger stimulus-brain coupling, engaged attention-related networks, and supported sustained attention for some listeners with greater attentional difficulty. Hypercalm is a focus tool, not an ADHD treatment.
